Hilarious Pampered Consort: Lord I Will Wait For Your Divorce chapter 23

The first time, splashing water.

The second time……..she was helpless!

“Master?” Jing Xin worriedly approached her. She reached out, wanting to take the wet cloak.

“Sigh. There’s no need. This is still useful.” Qu Tang’er didn’t let Jing Xin touch the cloak. Instead, she has drapped it over her body again. She was walking strangely, yet with cautious.

“Master shouldn’t have pushed Jing Xin away. Otherwise….”

“Are you stupid? If water was spilt on you, how much would you be able to block it? Hehe.” Qu Tang’er smiled nonchalantly. However, her beautiful eyes glanced at Jing Xin who truly didn’t have the slightest bit of water on her body. She couldn’t help but whisper: “Old woman Qu’s splashing technique is truly top-notch. She did it so properly. All the water greeted only me. Did she practise it a lot?”

“Master?”

“Well. What has to come, will still eventually come. I will only be facing a little of unfairness. I could only blame a truly ignorant Heaven for making me drop to this place. If I had known beforehand, I would have learnt some magic in the past. Not being able to fly away, not being able to escape, learning a few moves and stances of doing a magic trick to scare people would be great. Regret, regret.” Qu Tang’er curled her lips, her face showing impatience. Since she said it too quietly, the other people didn’t hear her clearly.

Taking a step, she walked into the main hall.

“Are you dying? You are so slow. Hurry up!”

After old woman Qu’s curses quieted down, Qu Tang’er continued with her unhurried pace.

On one hand, she was moving forward, on the other hand, Qu Tang’er was calculating time.

She was waiting. Waiting for an opportunity.

Qu Tang’er raised her head just ever so slightly. Then, in a split second, she grasped the situation inside the room. Qu Jiang Lin was sitting left to the head seat, and the first madam stood in front of the chair that was right to the head seat. Following were the second, the third, the fourth and continuous lining up according the rank of each madam. As for original Qu Tang’er’s mother, she had only the right to stand there……standing not far from Qu Jiang Lin’s back.

“Dead wench! Why haven’t you thrown away your cloak?” The first madam was displeased. Her eyes were watching the wet cloak on Qu Tang’er’s body. She felt a slight chill, but the main thing has yet to come.

“Didn’t you hear what daniang said? Why haven’t you thrown away your cloak? Don’t make your daniang angry.” Qu Jiang Lin finally opened his mouth. Just, as soon as he opened his mouth, the one he thought about was still the first madam. Yet, the position of Qu Tang’er’s birth mother, the ninth madam, was too low. Apart from using the pair of grieving eyes to attentively watch Qu Tang’er, she couldn’t say even a word .

“Yes. Tang’er understands.” Qu Tang’er glanced at the first madam. Subsequently, she swept a look at Qu Jiang Lin. Afterwards, she lowered her head, her attention fixed on the cloak on her body.  A strange light flashed inside her eyes. At last, she was precisely waiting for this moment. Her current position was not too far nor too close to the first madam. Just enough.

And then……

Pu! Pu!

Once she took off the cloak, she fiercely flung it, then flung it few more times.

She does admit that her water flinging skill was not as good as the first madam’s superb water spilling skill, but……it was enough. Using another point of view, it could be regarded as valiant!

“Damn it! Qu Tang’er, do you have a death wish?” The first madam’s lion roar appeared. However, when she howled out, she realized that she had lost self-control. She immediately restrained herself afterward.

“Daniang, what happened to you? Why is your face covered with water? Is it raining? It’s not right. Even if it was raining, you are currently standing inside the house. It’s impossible to be drenched by the rain.” Qu Tang’er looked at the first madam puzzledly as if she didn’t know from where came the water drops on her face, and also as if she couldn’t make out how did the first madam’s broke into fury.
