Synopsis

He Huan was abandoned by mother as a child. Later on, she experienced her father’s car accident who subsequently went into a coma.

He Huan vowed to take revenge on her birth mother. This has practically become the only faith in her life.

She devised a coincidental encounter and seduction of her step sister’s fiancé, Lu Jin Zhou. Unexpectedly, she became targeted by cold and ruthless Shang Zhan, her mother’s step-son who was eager to protect his sister.

He coerced her to give up on Jin Zhou. However, during their interaction with each other, he gradually developed feelings for her.

The four’s love entanglement, thus, began. When all the riddles uncover, what path would He Huan take?

Review 

Does this plot sound familiar? It kind of reminds me of Korean melodramas minus one of the main leads discovering he/she got leukemia or that they turned out to be siblings sort of stuffs. I have read this story years ago when I just started discovering c-novels. Back then, I did quite enjoy this story as its plot was kind of a novelty to me (just started to watch K-drama at that time, too). Nowadays, since I’m older, I can see that it had the potential but the author didn’t bring this potential to the fullest. In addition, she added into story some elements that were unnecessary in my opinion. Plus, the way how some characters developed was certainly disappointing to me.

Alright. Despite all of these shortcomings, I wouldn’t say this story was that horrible, just that it had the potential to be a very entertaining story. Especially when it started so promisingly! Of course, opinions can vary. So, I’m quite curious about what others think of this story. Those who read it can write a comment and share opinions about it!
