Okay. I had crush on him since watching Chinese Paladin. I loved that drama and also loved him, who played there the main protagonist. As years went by, instead of just being a pretty vase (can it be also used for man?), he went to polish his acting skills and made a name for himself. And yes. Hi did accomplish and came out with amazing dramas like Nirvana in Fire and The Disguiser. I feel so proud of him (he’s still single by the way σ(≧ε≦o))
This is another crush of mine. Initially he rose to fame by starring in drama At Dolphin Bay (didn’t watched it). I came to know him from drama The Royal Swordsman and since then I have been his fan. Silent yet hardworking, with serious attitude toward his work, shy yet from time to time playful. Gosh, these qualities earns him the male lead position in any type of romance book. Moreover, he and Hu Ge make such a great CP!
I remember first seeing him acting in Chinese Odyssey as some bandit, who later turned out to be reincarnated Monkey King. I didn’t like this movie at that point (I was maybe ten?) since I didn’t understand many laughing points there. But nowadays I like to rewatch the old movies, in which he starred. They are all so funny! I heard from someone saying, that there are two kind of views of him – those who love him and his humor and those who don’t. It’s obvious that I belong to the first category.
I first saw him appearing on one episode of Running Man. Back then I didn’t really know him, but I was still attracted by his charming personality and unique eyes. He is truly an amazing actor, who can easily handle various type of roles – from kind-hearted teacher, who felt helpless when facing the injustice of how the society turned blind to those who committed unforgivable crimes on disabled children to a childish goblin, who likes to bicker with his roommate, the grim reaper and is afraid of his bride pulling the sword from his chest. My fav work of his is definitely Goblin!
I didn’t watch the movie that shot him to stardom, The King and the Clown. At first I didn’t like him much since he appeared too flower-ish in my eyes, though I admit that he is a great actor. Later, after watching Moon Lovers, I changed my mind. I instantly fell in love with his portrayal of 4th prince Wang So. How can be someone so handsome?! These days I am rewatching the drama Arang and the Magistrate, in which he played the male lead.
If you’ve also got fav asian actors, write a comment to share ^^ (P.S. Why do I get a feeling that Mr. Stephen Chow is so out of place here, lol?)

About this list – you and me, both, sister! Although, I’m a bit older (I think!) so I also like watching older dramas with older actors like Nawat Kulrattanarak (Pong) in Thai dramas or the Singaporean Christopher Lee or even the well-tanned Hong Konger Louis Hoo. I must confess my first asian drama ever was A Step into the Past so I have a soft spot in my heart from way, way back for Louis. Okay, now you can laugh . . .

Hi humbledaisy!
Worry not I won’t laugh ^^
Actually I have watched the drama A step into the past and I must admit that it’s one of the best (okay best) time-traveling drama I have ever watched. Maybe I was face blind or what but I had a trouble to differentiate face of Louis Too from Raymond Lam. These days I’m rewatching old dramas and movies I liked – especially movies of Stephen Chow and older TVB dramas as they are truly amazing!

Its okay, I really like Raymond Lam, too! He wasn’t a favorite of mine in ASITP but I just finally watched Rule The World and man, he was good.

I only don’t like Wallace Huo from your list other than his pretty face his acting is so so and cannot breakthrough through all these years. Lee Joongi, Hu Ge, and Gong Yoo are truly can surpassed my expectations in terms of acting and facial expressions in all these years with their variety drama ranges, they have improved a lot compare to their late years in acting. Stephen Chow is a legend and he will always be one.
