A mistaken marriage match: Record of washed grievances 《错嫁良缘之洗冤录》by Qian Lu《浅绿》

Synopsis:

Review of book:

The female lead, Zhuo Qing, is a level-headed forensic investigator. Together with her friend Gu Yun, she time-traveled to the ancient Yue country, into the bodies of Qing sisters, who were sent as „gifts“ from a defeated neighbor country. Zhuo Qing received the body of the eldest sister Qing Ling while Gu Yun possessed the body of the youngest sister Qing Mo. Qing Ling was initially supposed to be sent to palace but, by an accident, she was mistook as Qing Feng (middle sister) and was sent to the prime minister Lou Xiyan´s  manor instead. However, during the way, she got abducted by the local villagers. She thought that it was a chance to escape, but instead she inadvertently caught the attention of Lou Xiyan and thus their fate was sealed…..

This is my second time reading a book about autopsy and surprisingly I find the books with this kind of theme quite interesting!  There are lots of murders to solve (ok maybe two or three) and also corpses to dissect (it´s really amazing how much autopsy can contribute to solving a case!).

To be honest, my fav character in this book was not the female lead (although she was funny and especially fond of  swearing) but her friend suddenly turned sister, who is also the main heroine of the second book of these series (yes, it´s a trilogy and this book is the first one ^_^ )
