The Big Shot’s Girlfriend Is a Demoness chapter 11

The Big Shot’s Girlfriend Is a Demoness translation

Far out on the surface of the sea, if people were to witness the scene in front of them, their three views would surely be shaken.

A group of dolphins and a nurse shark had surrounded a person and were affectionately rubbing against her. The nurse shark, in particular, seemed to yearn to throw itself into her arms.

The pod of dolphins was pushed aside. In the face of shark’s intimidation, they were like poor little creatures. They gazed anxiously at the person but dared not cross the boundary.

No matter how docile was the nurse shark, it was still a shark. It still possessed a threat to them, the dolphins. However, if pushed too far, the dolphins could team up and even fight against a great white shark.

Unfortunately, it was not the time for a brawl right now. What was most important was that this human, whom they had grown fond of, was clearly familiar with the tyrant nurse shark. They could tell with whom she had a closer relationship.

The dolphins, who have always been loved by humans, could only look on with envy at the nurse shark.

Luoxi reached out to push the nurse shark’s big head away. This fellow didn’t even look at its size and continued to squeeze into her arms.

After being pushed away, the nurse shark’s pea-like eyes were filled with obvious disappointment, and it even stopped moving its tail back and forth.

To appease the nurse shark, Luoxi stroked its dorsal fin. This fellow immediately rejoiced again. It circled Luoxi and acted affectionately with her. The way how fast it cheered up made the dolphin pod dumbstruck.

Bah! Who said that the nurse shark was docile and pure? It was clearly a scheming shark.

Luoxi patted the nurse shark and then turned her head to whisper to the dolphin pod, “Alright, go search people. Three male humans.”

The dolphins gathered around her and whistled several times. That sound was too adorable. A pod of dolphins whistling together. It actually resembled a singing.

Luoxi tilted her head and listened to their requests for a while. Her head was filled with black lines1.

She reached out and petted the head of each dolphin. Every dolphin she touched made a cheerful whistle before diving into the sea to search for the people.

The nurse shark swam by Luoxi’s side while panting with rage. Its pea-like eyes were solemnly supervising them. If any shameless dolphin tried to get petted by Luoxi again, it would immediately bare its teeth at them.

One dolphin, one pet. Once you get petted, quickly scram to work.

When dolphins saw that they couldn’t cheat, they swung their tails and splashed water onto the nurse shark’s face before quickly swimming away.

The nurse shark’s face turned ferocious. If Luoxi hadn’t been next to it, would have absolutely chased after them and taught those extremely daring dolphins a lesson.

After all the dolphins left, the nurse shark’s mood finally improved, and it happily clung to Luoxi once again.

The feelings that Luoxi experienced were novel and strange to her.

The Sirens were an existence that stood above all other species in the sea. The living condition on the Asmana planet was harsh. The guys in the sea would never be so intimate with her. Whenever they saw her, they would avoid her. To them, she was someone who could make them surrender, but also the most dreadful being.

However, when she arrived on Earth, she discovered that the guys here were extremely affectionate with her. They weren’t distrustful of her at all and showed her all kinds of affection and cuteness, wanting to cling to her at all times.

Oh, it was probably due to their ignorance.

Luoxi patted the nurse shark, indicating for it to take her to the seabed in the southern area.

She had no tail now. Although she swam faster than humans in the sea, she couldn’t compare to her past self. The changes in her body seemed to have made her into a real human. They have constrained her power in a human shell. Even breathing in the sea was restricted.

Fortunately, she could hold her breath longer than ordinary humans. She could let the nurse shark take her down. The nurse shark was fast. She would have, more or less, enough time. In order to fish out that noisy fellow, this was the fastest method that won’t attract people’s attention.

The news of the tsunami triggered by the seaquake in the area of the South Sea soon appeared on the internet.

The Earthquake and Oceanic Administrations, one after another, released updates on the situation, including the magnitude level, the epicenter location, and also the affected areas. They also reminded people near the area to take precautions and for fishermen to avoid going out to sea.

Earthquakes that occur at sea generally have fewer casualties, and this one was some distance away from the coastline. Originally, it shouldn’t have stirred up any heated discussions. However, it wasn’t until a streamer’s V account2 posted:

【If I’m not handsome, call the police: F*ck. Was there an earthquake and tsunami in the South Sea? This episode of the Deserted Island Survival seems to be recorded on a deserted island in the South Sea!!! 】

This host had quite a lot of fans. This morning, he even live-streamed how the guests of this episode’s Deserted Island Survival were setting off. Due to the sudden appearance of Luoxi’s looks that defied the natural order and the lack of other information about this newbie, many people followed this streamer and he gained a large following.

As soon as his message was posted, the comments below scolded him for making inauspicious remarks and freeloading on the hot topic.

After being scolded for quite a while, the streamer firmly released another post.

【If I’m not handsome, call the police: I promise on my integrity that this time I didn’t freeload on the hot topic. This morning I asked the boatman. The boatman said that they were heading to the deserted island in the South Sea. Due to my professional ethics, I shouldn’t have revealed it, but clearly, something has gone wrong.】

Once this post came out, everyone looked at each other in dismay. He described the whole thing in vivid detail. Could it be real?

The fans lost their cools. Of the six guests, apart from Luoxi, the other five all had diehard fans. Even Gong Xu, who belonged to those celebrities that operated behind the scenes, also had quite a lot of fans.

On one hand, the fans prayed that this wasn’t true, and on the other hand, they flocked to the official V account of Deserted Island Survival’s production crew, seeking proof of the authenticity of the news.

After a moment of silence, the official V account issued a news statement.

To sum up, their statement was saying that the filming location was indeed in the area affected by the tsunami. At the moment, they were unable to get in touch with the guests. However, they had already contacted the navy’s search and rescue team, and their members were already dispatched to rescue the guests.

This news exploded on the internet. Those who had watched Deserted Island Survival knew well that the tsunami happened at around 4 PM. At this time, the guests had already arrived at the island and started filming. It clearly indicated that the guests had nothing to help themselves. In the face of the tsunami, they could fight it only with their swimming skills and luck!

Not to mention, there was Li Wei among them, who was a non-swimmer.

The official V account of Deserted Island Survival and the streamer made it into hot topics. The media outlets went out in full force and encircled the companies to which the guests belonged to. The phones of the guest’s managers also rang off the hook.

It used to be deserted in front of Batian Entertainment’s door. At the moment, the place was as lively as a food market.

The boss was stopped at the company lounge. He was being aimed at by camera lenses while being asked a series of questions.

“Mr. Feng, what are your feelings right now?”

“Considering you had a tough time discovering this budding star, what measures does Batian Entertainment plan to take if she was lost in the tsunami?”

“Has Miss Tang’s family been informed of the current situation? Is miss Tang from the capital? Where did you discover her, Mr. Feng?”

The boss’s face remained calm. He was unwilling to pay attention to these media outlets.

In the past, Batian Entertainment had no decent artists, and they had to coax and plead with the media to hold press conferences. Despite their efforts, only a few media outlets would attend, and they would not only put on air but also ask for a thick red envelope3.

Tables have turned, however. This morning, Luoxi made only a brief appearance in front of the media, but these media had sharp eyes. They quickly recognized this newbie’s immense potential for stardom as long as she avoided trouble.

The two words “unparalleled beauty” wasn’t a simple boast. The female stars in their circle all looked pretty in the photos. But, as the entertainment media, they were too well aware of how much were these pictures exaggerated. Once in a while, when a genuine natural beauty emerged, her beauty was bound to be celebrated by the public.

Even if placed on the most demanding big screen, Tang Luoxi’s face had no flaws.

This morning, the media outlets were lamenting about what sort of dog shit happened to Batian Entertainment that they could randomly stumble upon such a gem of a newcomer on the street. They were already planning how to write sensational news once the show aired.

But before the evening, something had already happened to that newbie.

An undersea earthquake, a tsunami – everything forboded disaster rather than a blessing.

In an instant, all sorts of sensational stories like “Beautiful women suffer ill fates” and “Heaven is jealous of good-looking women” started to appear in the minds of the media. The thing that made people most sorrowful and regretful was to pass away at the peak of one’s beauty.

These media outlets were like sharks that smelled blood. They swarmed toward Batian Entertainment, wanting to dig out more information about this mysterious newbie to increase the appeal of their stories.

However, the boss of Batian Entertainment remained silent, clearly not willing to respond. The media outlets that were blocked off by security were getting impatient, and someone finally raised his voice:

“Mr. Feng, miss Tang has sadly perished during this incident. Don’t you have anything to say?”

The veins on the boss’s forehead protruded, and he lost his last bit of patience.

He turned around with a fierce expression and glared at the person who spoke out: “Liulian Daily News, right? From now on, Batian Entertainment won’t accept any interviews from you.”

The reporter from Liulian Daily News was anxious, “You have no right to do so. We have the right to the freedom of the press!”

“Freedom of the press? Did the freedom of the press tell you to curse my artist to die? Your profession is entertainment reporter, but I advise you to have a kind heart. Those who disregard the bottom line for sensationalism do not deserve to be called human beings.”

The boss retorted coldly. He waved his hand and ordered the security to escort the reporter out.

The entertainment reporter was pulled away by the tall security guard. Surprised and angry, he said: “Who cursed your newbie to die? I just spoke based on facts. The earthquake scale has been released, and with the tsunami, as a girl, she has a very low chance of survival! What you’re doing is changing the subject and treating reporters roughly!”

The boss suddenly laughed, staring at the reporter and saying word by word, “Very low chance of survival? Then let me tell you, she will be absolutely fine!”

“On what basis are you saying these things?!” The entertainment reporter was already at the edge of the door, yet he still tried to stick his head out and yell.

“Based on the fact that she has someone in the sea to cover her back!”

The boss uttered these final words in a resounding and powerful voice as he watched the security guard throw out the annoying entertainment reporter. His “matter-of-fact” attitude left the other media outlets in awe. Coupled with the intimidation from the security guard, for a moment, there was no one to speak again.”

The boss raised his chin and left, leaving behind a profound back silhouette.

It took quite a while for the other media outlets to recover and gather to discuss the incident.

“Has she got someone to cover her back in the sea? What does that even mean?”

“Does she have connections with the Maritime Safety Agency or the Navy, allowing her to be immediately rescued?”

“She needs to be alive to be rescued. There are no noble or lowly people in front of a natural disaster. Do you think that tsunamis discriminate between people?”

“…..”

“F*ck, we were fooled! That Feng is still as cunning as ever!”

The crowd of media outlets thought that they were simply stupid idiots. They were tricked by Feng’s one sentence, which was obviously a pretext to change the subject.

What about having someone in the sea to cover her back? Who will cover her back? A South Sea Dragon King or South Sea Bodhisattva of Compassion?

Even if there were truly a Dragon King or Bodhisattva of Compassion in the South Sea, why would they be concerned about a little girl’s safety? Was that little girl a Dragon Girl or an acolyte by the Bodhisattva of Compassion’s lotus throne?!

The media outlets rushed to Batian Entertainment, hoping to uncover more sensational stories. However, they returned empty-handed.

F*ck, was Batian Entertainment showing them that they had nothing to fear for?

Who in the entertainment industry didn’t show them a little respect? The uncrowned king wasn’t just an empty title. If you offend the media, one pen was enough to destroy a group of people.

Especially in the internet age, information spreads rapidly. One or two articles released can incite people quickly. Even if the truth was eventually revealed, the damage would be already done.

This was the so-called ‘a man needs only a mouth to spread rumors, but to refute them the man has to run off feet’.

Because of this, people from the entertainment circle still tolerated the media even though they didn’t like them. Unless they were true big shots. In general, the opinions of ordinary artists and companies need not be taken into consideration by media outlets.

However, Batian Entertainment was different. This company was on the verge of bankruptcy and had nothing to lose. They dared to challenge and offend them and even used force in a harsh way.

After facing forceful suppression by security guards and learning from their experience with Liulian Daily Newspaper, they left with their tails between their legs.

Forget about it. They should talk to the ones who are easier to deal with.
